About Me
Maxcel Enongene Kome, also known by his stage name Key Chainz, was born in Kumba, in the South West region of Cameroon, on 17 June 1991. Key Chainz – an African musician showed an early passion for music, having been raised in a household filled with diverse musical influences, from Makossa and rap to rock and classical music. He quickly developed a deep appreciation for melody and rhythm.
After graduating from high school, Key Chainz – an African musician pursued his musical ambitions full-time. He started performing at local clubs and bars, building a following and catching the attention of a talent scout from a renowned record label.
Live & Studio
Signing his first record deal marked a turning point in Key Chainz's career. His song "Senorita," released in 2021, received critical acclaim for its blend of rap/trap influences and heartfelt lyrics. Key Chainz has continued to evolve as an artist, experimenting with different musical styles and collaborating with industry veterans.
