About Me
Maxcel Enongene Kome, also known by his stage name Key Chainz, was born in Kumba, in the South West region of Cameroon, on 17 June 1991. Key Chainz – an African musician showed an early passion for music, having been raised in a household filled with diverse musical influences, from Makossa and rap to rock and classical music. He quickly developed a deep appreciation for melody and rhythm.
After graduating from high school, Key Chainz – an African musician pursued his musical ambitions full-time. He started performing at local clubs and bars, building a following and catching the attention of a talent scout from a renowned record label.
Live & Studio
Signing his first record deal marked a turning point in Key Chainz's career. His song "Senorita," released in 2021, received critical acclaim for its blend of rap/trap influences and heartfelt lyrics. Key Chainz has continued to evolve as an artist, experimenting with different musical styles and collaborating with industry veterans. His discography includes two studio albums, each showcasing his growth as a singer-songwriter. Songs like "Tell Me Part 2" and "Trap Trap Ngess" have become anthems for his devoted fanbase, resonating with listeners around the world.
